Pieces that must somehow fit:
1. John VANDENBARRAK was paid a debt from the estate of Peter VANDENBARRAK upon Peter's death in Hunterdon Co in 1804.
2. There was a John SEMLEBARAH of Walpack who married Caty DACKER (DECKER) and had son Cornelius christened in the DRC 9 May 1790.
3. One of Peter's brothers was baptised in Walpack DRC as a SEMLEBARAH in 1766.
4. Peter was actually a VANDENBURGH and a member of the van den BERG family who came from NY to NJ in the early 18th century, his father Goosen van den BERG having been said to have been of Sussex County.
5. Also in Sussex in this time frame, listed as a taxpayer, was a Harmanus VANDENBURGH.
Was John a son of Harmanus? What was the relationship of Harmanus to Peter or his father Goosen van den BERG? Any help appreciated!
