My mom lived in Alloway, she was 27 days shy of her 3rd birthday, and she remembers the flood, and I have two pictures of her, one sitting on a bridge over the empty Alloway Lake and the next one of her with the empty lake behind them. I beleive she said a mother and child died in the Alloway Flood
