Thank you for your suggestion. I did send to the counties I knew my direct line ancestors lived in and will submit to surname list. By the way, I believe you are in Portland, Oregon. We lived there briefly in 1970 and our youngest daughter was born there. My brother-in-law lives there and has a law practice. Nice city.
