My grandparents were married in 1905 at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Passaic, NJ. I would like to get additional information on them such as where they lived and where my grandfather worked. They eventually ended up in Glen Lyon, PA where my grandfather was very active in the church, I think he must have been active in St. Michaels also. His full name was Basilius Vajda and my grandmothers maiden name was Maria Mikulinec.

I'm looking for Elizabeth Ladanyi, b. 1892. I have minimal information on her. She is my husband's grandmother, and would have immigrated with a very young son Steve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Were you able to find any additional details on Elizabeth Ladanyi? I have relatives that came to Passaic and lived there for a number of years before moving to Indiana. I was able to successfully research Ladanyi's back to the old country--was she from Nagy Kapos, now known as Velke Kapasuny?

I have not done any further research in a very long time on anyone connected with my father's side of the family. Everyone that probably knew anything at all is now deceased. There was another John Loguda in Carteret, NJ but he would never respond to letters I had written. He was known to have traveled back to the old country on several occassions. My uncle and his wife in Passaic are deceased but their children are still in the NJ area.
