I have located an extensive news article from the Trenton Evening Times on March 13, 1970 that says only two firefighters died in the tenement fire. The building housed 12 families. Those died were Battalion Chief Joseph Griffin, 50, and Fireman Sam Latona, 21. Several were injured, names were given.
