I do know the house that is next to the miniature golf course that is next to Cedar creek campground Bayville, NJ My father and his father built. They used it so they could go fishing and pickle all the fish they aught to sell at the Casler's market in Irvington/ Newark. My grandfather sold that house because his other kids started fighting over who was going to get it.

Florence Wangenstein was the daughter of Frederick W. Wangenstein and Mary L. Stillwell. She was born in Richmond County, New York in or about the year 1905. She moved with her parents to Ocean/Monmouth Counties New Jersey in the 1920s.

Florence married Sander M. Anderson of Lakewood, NJ in the middle 1930s. According to a divorce notice in 1945, this couple had three children.

To date, I've only found one of these children, Henry, living with his widowed grandmother Mary L. Wangenstein in 1940 at Jackson, NJ. Would anyone know the names and approximate ages of the other children?

This morning I was reading an obituary for a Mrs. Corlies Cline who died at Sea Bright, New Jersey in February of 1925. Her maiden name appears to have been Barry per this obituary.

Mrs. Cline was survived by:

"Councilman Edmund W. Cline and William Barry Cline of Seabright, a daughter, Mrs. Laura Flynn of Highlands, and a grandson Theodore Flynn Jr. She also leaves a brother and a sister, they being John Barry of Newburgh NY and Mrs. Mary Bernheim of New York."

Red Bank Register

I'm guessing that he was the son of Edmund and Susan Cline but that's a guess.

My mother in law is the daughter of Francis Parker. He was born I believe Aug 9,1907 and died Feb. 1968. He married Anna Mae Cizmadia(Cheymadia) and they had two daughters Elizabeth and Margaret. Margaret is my mother in law. I do have a couple photos of Francis and his brother Earl who btw his real name was Hiram E.(Earl). I guess they used the middle name as there seemed to be alot of Hirams out there.

Hello; It was told to me by my mother that my father's cousin was the principal owner of Deer Park Corp., however I have not been able to verify that through the deeds recorded for the property. I have even inquired to the trade name division in the County Clerk's office and the State with no luck. Just trying to verify if mom's information was correct. We visited this place many a weekend while growing up in the 1960's

My connection to the Mullen Family is through my late step mother, Doris Mullen Jacob. All of the information that I have about the family is second hand. I did not personally visit the archives in New Jersey to verify their lineage.
Since I currently live in Florida, you'll certainly need to do that yourself. If you find that some of my information needs correction, please share that with me after you have documented. The feedback is appreciated.
Sounds about right for a connection. Our family lived in Trenton, too. I recall hearing about a Kenneth, but we are a big clan and i'm not sure how it connects. If you have an email address, I'll send you an Ancestry.com invite to checkout the Mullen tree. You need to start with yourself and work backward: you, your parents, your grandparents, your great grandparents, etc.

I used to know Vera Gregorovna Rumjantzeff and Wladimir while I was living with them for a short year (Aug 1950 to Jun 1951) at 522, Ocean Ave., Lakewood NJ. I do know that both came from Russia and fled their country after the Revolution of 1917. She was a bellerina in Russia, and taught dance at her house. She sustained an ankle fracture while riding in a car which curtailed her dancing ability. Vladimir had a job as house painter and loved the game of baseball. He also was occasionally a Don Cossack singer. After I moved to Greenwich, Conn to rejoin my parents and my brother, I lost track of them.

John V Grokhowsky

Over the years I've gathered quite a lot of miscellany from various newspapers, especially the New Jersey Courier. I've started indexing what I have and put it into a searchable database at
http://batsto.netai.net/Search.html

It's got about 2,000 entries right now, but I'm adding about 200-300 more every few days. In most cases I haven't transcribed the article, but just a few words or made a summary of it.

Hey I am not a part of your family. However, there is a small grave yard in that area of Ocean County, the town was a small town with less then 100 people in it in the 1920's. Anyway the town was called Brookville. A very good friend of mine and I visit her grandparents grave in the Reeves town Cemetery (in Brookville) I am not sure if it is the same Estlow family or not seems way to close to not be, anyway we stumbled across a small "rock" with the name DEB ESTLOW carved in it... we didn't under stand why her Rock wasn't the same as the other family Estlow's in the grave yard, they all actually had headstones with dates and all that on them. hers is just a rock with her name, set a part from the rest of the family. We tried looking her up a little. We came up with that she was Deborah A. Estlow, she lived in brookville, nj in 1910 census has her and her husband Jesse S. Estlow. and then her again as a widow in 1930. We can't find anything else on her. Do you know anything of her?
