I'm looking for information on John L Layton and Joseph L Layton. In Feb 1814 John L and Joseph L Layton bought a tract of land in Howell from Benjamin Van Mater. They sold this tract to James Allaire 3 Dec 1835. Then on 15th day of Dec 1835 John L and Joseph Layton bought another tract in Howell from Andrew Bell. This tract was sold by David and Peter Layton on the 24th day of Oct 1863.
