I've hit sort of a brick wall in my genealogy of my mother's side. I haven't been able to find anything online, in part due to my lack of information, and I'm not sure where else to look.

Veronica Brown is my mother's maternal grandmother. As of right now, here's what I know.

Birth: About 1912.

Death: 05 Jan 1961, murdered by her husband

Married to: Robert McGory, an unknown Johnson, and Robert (Rocky) Van Arsdall Sr. Van Arsdall was the murderer.

Children: James A McGory (1932 - 2008), Constance L Reinke nee McGory (1935 - 1992), Everett Johnson, and Johnathan Van Arsdall.

I found a news article in the Trenton Evening Times from the day of her death describing the incident, but that's all I've been able to gather. Not even a SSDI. Anyone have any ideas?
