"In the name of God Amen. I Jonathan Waters of the Township of Hopewell and County of Hunterdon, and State of New Jersey, being of sound mind, and calling to mind the certainty of death, and that the time thereof is uncertain, Do make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner & fform ffollowing, viz: Whereas principally and first of all, I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the Earth to be Buried in a christian and Decent manner at the direction of my executors hereinafter mentioned, And as Touching such personal Estate as God hath made me steward of, after my just debts are paid, and all my funeral charges are paid, I give and bequeath, comit, Dispose and order, the same as hereafter followeth. I give all my movables to my son William Waters, and to my daughter Elizabeth, to be equally divided between them two.

"Lastly, I constitute, make ordain and appoint my son William Waters and Andrew Muirheid to be my executors of this my Last Will and Testament.

"In Witness Whereof, I have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the second day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty.

"Sealed, Signed and published as my last Will and Testament. In presence of Albert Akers, John Davison, Stephen Jones."
