In the Dempsey Records there is listed a James J. McNerny, D.O.D. 10/19/1893, whose last residence was "Near Shore House". He is also in Ancestry's "New Jersey Deaths and Burials Index..." as James McEnerney having died in Bayonne. If he is my ancestor he should have been living on Staten Island: thus the puzzle I'm trying to unravel. Has anyone seen mention of the "Shore House" in their searching?
