Bob, I just confirmed in Cushing and Sheppard's History of Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland counties. Pages 300 and 309 confirm residence of Dr. Loomis in what was called at that time (pub. 1881) generally the Battentown section of Swedesboro. I think they are talking south of the Swedes church, but still on Kings Highway, so away from the center of town, towards where the Post Office is now.
