I am researching Lemmermeier family trees in Germany and the USA. I am very interested in the certificates and all other information about this part of the family. I already found out that Max Lemmermeier migrated in 1854 from Gernsbach, Baden, to Newark. I wonder if anyone knows what happened to his descendants...

Valentin Rudolph Trautvetter b. abt. 1837 in Saxony d. abt 1890 , Newark, NJ m. Mariae Mertz abt. 1860 in Newark, NJ. They haad abt. 5 children, on of which was Franciscum who married maria Tehreae Lemmermeier, they had abt. 11 children give or take, one of which was Frederick b. Nov. 1898.

He very well may have been baptised in St. Peter's, that is where his parents married.

Valentine Sr.s wife was Mariae Mertz, one of their sons, Peter V. married Anna Schmidt, one of their children, Valentine married Angeline Boice.

Another son, Francis married Mariae Theresae Lemmermeier on 14 Feb 1888 in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Newark, NJ.
