I wonder do you have the information on Sarah Coleman's parents. She was born about 1863 in Leesburg, N.J. She married to George W. Gamble has two sons Belford H. and Albert Gamble. She has two brothers Benjamin and John Coleman and two sisters Mrs. David Simpkins and Mrs. W.B. Cramer. Can you help? Do you have the information on them?

Hi: thanks for asking but I am afraid I am of no help..Our John and Hannah were m. in Cape May , N.J. and left there around 1808 and went to Hamilton Co.Ohio and on to Shelby Co.Indiana.... I am told that there were some Colemans from N.J. that also came into Hamilton Co. Ohio..and most probably she could be long to ... However, HamiltonCo.Ohio had a lot of fires and a lot of there records have been destroyed so this lady that gave me the info has been thru all the records and there is no Hannah...So we are stuck...There also was none in Cape May, N.J. either....wilma hilll

I recently discovered that I may be related to Hannah Coleman Scull. My family from Cumberland was Harmon Kruse. In 1836 he wrote his son John Brown Kruse and in the letter in mentions his "Uncle" John Clamon (Coleman) with children Jacob and John, married to Bunnel (Bonnell)family and Hannah married to John Scull. The following is as it is was written in the letter:
As respecting your uncle John it is not like
He is Living he would be 60 years ould next month
About 5 fee 9 inches in hith black hair and eyes
Nose like your self Loavga full eye bold and daring but
One of his middle fingers part eat off by cansoureous
I expect I have 4 or 5 cozens the airs of John Clamon (Coleman)
They use to live near Sancenatta but often _____
Moved over into canticka Jacob and John
Married in the Bunnel (Bonnell) family Hannah
Married John Scull if they are living
They are 50 years old or upwards

I am in SLC at present, where I just confirmed that John Coleman and Harmon Kruse were in Maurice River Township of Cumberland County, NJ in 1879. This John Coleman and his family moved to Hamilton County, Ohio before 1810 and I descend from his son, Jacob. Unfortunately, Cumberland County records are scarce for that era. Let me know if you want to communicate more:
