My mother's family was from Cumberland County, so I am familiar of what they have at the Archives. I know that they have marriage records on microfilm that goes back to 1795. I have a Craig's book of marriages here at the house with me. I see your marriage of 1816 listed. Back then it was written in a Ledger Book, with the person marrying them, the place of marriage, the date of marriage, and the couple mentioned. I can look for you, on my next trip, if you want.
