I am James K. Key one of the sons of Lawrence A. Key. I live in the former Soviet Union. My Father Lawrence (Machinist)is the son of David H. and Mildred Key nee Green
My Grandfather was David Henderson (Hendrickson) Key and Mildred. My Great Grandfather was Alonzo R. Key (boatbuilder) Great Grandmother was Musa Letts. (See alternate spelling She was from near Chatsworth. She had a brother there. David, George, William, Charles, Leroy they had 12 children spread over the earth! I remeber Tryphena well I think she was the wife of William (Bill) Key and was Clayton Schenks Fathers Sister. David H. Key B.1843 (Christened as Daniel) (Seaman served as a Pilot for Tampa Bat, Fl. and Caroline Taylor where the parents of Alonzo R. Key He served in Co G New Jersey Calv in the civil war commisioned as 2nd lt. Severely wounded in the mouth causeing impaired speech. They had 4 children. His Father was Samuel C. Key Mothers name was Abigail. Most all of the kets mentioned are in Mt Pleasant Cemetary.
I knew Claytin Schenk we were close in age. His Father was a sign painter in Millville and a very good one.
I left New Jersey in 1968. I miss the Diners, pizza and Subs!
