I am looking for information on Lydia Simkins B. 1817 in New Jersey m. to Samuel Tomlinson (b. 1815 NJ). THey were married 16 Feb. 1838 Cumberland Co. I am trying to get info on siblings and parents for both people. I would love any help or clues. THANKS!! :-)

I have some information on Lydia Simkins and Samuel Tomlinson. According to the research done by my grandfather, Charles Samuel Tomlinson, Jr. (1904-1987), Samuel was born to William Tomlinson (1785-1826) and his wife Phebe Harris (1788-1841). Their other children were John (1809-1858), Moses (1810-1811), Phoebe Ann, Aliveda (1816-1836), Harriet (1818-?) Timothy (1819-?), Ruth (1821-?) and Margaret (1825-?).
One of Samuel and Lydia's children was Eden Seely Tomlinson (born 7/14/1845). Eden was my great, great grandfather. His son Charles Samuel (1883-1937)is my great-grandfather, and his son Charles Samuel Jr. was my grandfather.

I have a pretty extensive South Jersey Simkins tree going back to 1758, but don't show her.

If you find that she is descended from or related to George Simkins (1758-1813) and Ann Lafferty (1760), I would be interested in any Simkins info you find.
