A Salute to the Peacock Family will be the theme of the next meeting of the Historical Society of the Winslow Township, to be held next Monday Night, September 12th, at 7:00 PM at the Bud Duble Senior Center, on Cooper's Folly Road, in Tansboro, about 1/4 mile east of Rt. 73 (Next to the Library)
Cooper's Folly Road is about 3 miles south of Berlin.
The Peacock Family were among the first settlers of this area; we will be hearing from two members of our society, John Lounsberry and Frank Hummel, descendants of Joshua Peacock, who have done extensive research on the Peacock Family. Come and meet our members.
Refreshments will be served.
