I descend from a Richard Watson born in 1787 in Abbeville County, South Carolina who died in 1824 in the same place who maried Lavina Brooks. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth Watson died on 12/1/1835 and married Zebulon Rudulph, Jr. of Camden, S.C.; they were the parents of my great-great grandfather John Barratt Rudulph who was born 10/10/1835 of Alabama. That's about all I know of my Watson lineage; but there are Quakers in several maternal lines up on the Rudulph line. The Rudulphs originally settled in Wilmington, DE and that side of the family soon became most associated with Cecil County, MD.
