My ggrandmother - Julia Arents (born Sep. 1872) came to Canada in 1905 from Belgium. Her sister's Adline, and Elise, and brother Charles came as well. There was a sister left in Belgium. I believe her father's name may have been Charles Germaine Arents

ARENTS

Classification: Query
Surnames: ARENTS, AERTSZEN, ARENTSEN, HENDRICKS, KIP, KIPP
Here is what I have on the ARENTS surname so far. Hendrikrie ARENTS, daughter of Cornelius Aertszen/Arentsen (note spelling) and Belletje Hendricks. Hendrikrie married Pieter Cornelise Bryant/Breyandt. The ARENTS surname then winds down to the KIP/KIPP surname.

Thank you for your message of March 22. Does any of this look familiar to you?

Hi, I'm interested in what you know about the Durie surname. My gggg-grandmother was Osseltje Durie who was married to Walter Clendenny. She lived in Jersey City but we've connections to Bergen County, too. Thank you. Dory
