I need help from someone willing to gather information on gravesites in Brookside Cemetery for my grandmother, grandfather and other relatives buried at Brookside Cemetery in Bergen Co..
Some of their names are as follows:
my grandparents:
Mildred Muller-Genberg b.16Oct1916, d. 22Aug1989
Harold Genberg b. 26Jun1911, d. 1966
(Mildred should be buried on top of Harold)
Next to these graves is Mildred's brother (his name might be Harry). I do not know if his grave is marked, but I am certain he is buried beside my grandmother. I believe he was retarded and hidden away. My grandmother only spoke of him once and that was to specify to my mother that she be buried on top of Harold and not her brother.
Many other family members are also buried in this cemetery. They include my great grandparents:
Henry J. Muller b. 9Nov1891 d. Nov1975
Lillian Diehl-Muller b. 1891, d. 1960
Viktor Wilhelm Genberg b. 3Dec1873 d. 3Nov1880
Wendla Sofia Isaksdotter Fahlur-Genberg b. 27Apr1870 d. 1950
Their parents and siblings and other relatives may also be buried here. Any Genbergs, Diehls, and Mullers in this cemetery are probably in some way related to me.
There may be a Charles Diehl, or John Steel, or some Kendelhardts (a Charlotte Kendelhardt-Diehl),
I would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone living in this area can provide (I am in Oklahoma and am unable to make it to NJ in the near future). Please let me know if you can help with pictures or other information from the gravesites.
I am also looking for any info available in Closter or Bergen County records.
Thank you!!!
