I am looking for my G Grandfather Samuel Wells, born about 1870's. Married Phoebe ?. Children: Edward North Wells (b. abt. 1890) m. Claribel Brown.; Glada m. Richard Bowen; Irene (Rena) m. ? Nixon.
He lived in Pleasantville, Atlantic County, NJ and had a general store in Northfield, NJ in the early 1900's. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I am stuck!

There was a small general store that may have been Wells on New rd. in Northfield. I was only about 5 or 6 at the time. The place burned down about 1966 or so. I believe the fire department used it for training. I remember watching it since was at the end of our street. I am not sure if this was Wells or not, but the name rings a bell. My dad would buy me pretzel sticks there when we went.
