I've recently learned that my ancestors came from a part of old Gloucester Co that is now Atlantic County. William Forbes and Hannah Johnson were md Gloucester Co (Galloway) in 1828. Anthony Forbes and Elizabeth Johnson were md there in 1827. All went to Clermont Co Ohio to the area where Rev John Collins relocated, but they went later, and I think they went to join other Johnsons. I am trying to find the parents of William and Hannah. I have their marriage record. There were land deals in NJ with Joseph Johnson and some Blackmans. I've been stuck on these people for 25 years. I should have known to check county changes but didn't.
