Have you found out anymore? I am having a hard time with that side of the family. I have it that Harrison's father was Cornelius Thompson and may have been related to the Cornelius Thompson from Scotland. I'm looking into that now.

Jacob and Lavina Adams of Mays Landing, had Ellen Adams and Maria Adams (just 2 of a number of children).

Maria Adams married Cornelius and had Harrison who married Emeline Baker. I think Harrison had a brother Jacob as well.

Ellen Adams married James Baker and had Emeline who married Harrison.

That would make Harrison and Emeline Baker first cousins.

We recently found some old family photos and it said on the back that they were first cousins. All my research is pointing to Maria Adams being the mother of Harrison.

I'm pretty sure that's right. Also, I'm guessing that Maria Adams married Cornelius and then dissapeared and he then married Hester.

Just wondering if you found out anything. I'm researching all the children of Jacob and Lovina. Their grandson was Walter, even though it says he was a son. I'm from his line.
