I'm searching for information on William Adams. In May 1871, he and his wife Florence MACDONALD (25 Aug 1847 - 22 Jan 1890) an immigrant from PEI, Canada had a daughter named Effie. In 1880, Florence is already remarried to her second husband, James LOWRIE (Lowery) with a 3 year old having been widowed.

So all I know about William ADAMS is that he dies somewhere between 1870 and 1877, and he had a daughter Effie in 1871.

Effie's birthplace on her marriage license is Portsmouth, NH. In 1880 they are living in Kittery, ME. (The Portsmouth naval yard is in Kittery, James Lowrie was a marine.)

I'm looking for any information and documentation for William Adams, so far I've tracked a lot of dead ends. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
