... A quick check of Census pages and there were 15 men named John ABBOTT in NH in 1860. In 1820, there were only 2 in NH, father and son in Concord, NH. .. In 1820 in NH there were almost 60 .. ABBOTT people. Mostly in Rockingham Co. and Hillsborough Co. Almost 30 with the ABBOT spelling.
