Shubael Butterfield, b. 1787 - son of Benjamin?

I posted a similar query on the Merrimack board, but I thought I should try here too since Merrimack actually wasn't even a county back in 1787! I have some records that lead me to believe (but don't confirm) that Shubael was born in 1787 in Concord. I don't find much on the Concord census records to help me, but I do see that in 1790 Benjamin Butterfield was living in Antrim. I'm wondering if Benjamin might be my Shubael's father. Here's what I know about Shubael:

In 1809 he was in Waterford, VT where he married Lucretia Calkins (b. 24 Mar 1791 in Wilbraham, MA). They stayed in Caledonia County Vermont for quite a while, had 10 children (including my 2nd Ggrandfather, William Cooledge Butterfield who married Mary McElwain). In 1860, Lucretia was living in Warren, MA with her daughter where she died in 1864. I presume Shubael died before the 1860 census, but don't know when or where.

I'd love to hear from anyone that might have information for me. Thanks!!
