I am seeking information on my paternal grandmother's maternal Grandmother, whose maiden name was Anna roycroft or raycroft. I was recently going over my grandmother's notes on her grandmother, and it appears she was born in Ireland. She married a man with the surname of Desmond. At some point they moved from Ireland to Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, where she was widowed from Mr. Desmond.

All I know about Anna Roycroft or Raycrofts parents is that they were from Ireland, and her mother;s maiden name was Anna O'Driscoll. Anna Roycroft Desmond later married my great-great Grnadfather, Andrew Jackson Young about 1859 in Virginia City, Nevada. Where they had there three daughters Mary, Annie, and Emma, according to the 1870 Census, which show Anna as having been born in Halifax, nova scotia, canada.
