RICHARDS - At Ryepatch, Humboldt county, Nevada, January 9, Mr. William Richards, eldest son of Mr. John Richards,, Mendarva, Camborne, aged 39."

This is probably my great-grandfather who had been married to Emily Jane Parsons. He divorced her in 1884. She moved their 3 sons to Lovelock, NV. The boys were Charles Parsons (my grandfather), John Hazen, and William Irving.

There is a William I. Richards buried at Lone Mountain cemetery in Lovelock. There are no dates on the headstone.

That sounds like the right person, as a descendant of his sister, Margaret Grace RICHARDS MICHELL/MITCHELL, believed his name was William Irving RICHARDS. He was born about 1848 in Gwennap Parish, Cornwall, England. Their parents were John RICHARDS and Sarah REED
