My Grandfather,Matthew "Herbert" Adie Grose,1867-1946 & Great Grandfather,Matthew "John" Grose,1843-1905,seperately,& at different times,worked as miners in Goldfield Nevada,sometime between 1895 & 1912,I do know they sailed from the Isle-Of-Man Uk,to Goldfield to work during this time scale.Does anyone know how I would get details of their movements,work.lodgings etc etc??,or any info would be gratefully received!
