JEPPERSON APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION

Classification: Query
Surnames: Jepperson
There seem to be several pretty good researchers working Goldfield. I am hoping that one of you may be able to help me. My great grandfather, Johan E. Jepperson was born in Denmark, orphaned at age 8, in an orphanage for awhile, then apprenticed out at 12 and at age 13 stowed away on a ship and came to America. He wound up in Goldfield in 1905-7 or so. He was a gambler and miner. He died in Goldfield in 1954 and was buried in the Knights of Pythias Section.
I found him on the 1920 census of Goldfield and he is listed as an Alien. On the 1930 census there is a notation "Pa" which I was told means that he had applied for citizenship and means "Papers Pending". My problem is that I cannot find these papers. I tried writing to the then-Co. Clerk in Goldfield and she seemed to know nothing about naturalization papers. It is my understanding that it is the application papers that have the most information. Do you have any idea where these papers may have been filed or where they may be today?
My great grandparents, John "Pop" and Esther "Jepp" Jepperson ran the County Hospital for many years. It was across the street from the new firehouse where the "annex" is. I own the four dormer house north of the new firehouse. I am hoping that someone has, or can find, where I can get copies of "Pop's" application for naturalization.
