Pierce Jones sr. and sister, Mrs. Isaac Franklin, went to North Platte Sunday where they visited relatives.

Rev. F. L. Harris and Rev. H. L. Case and H. J. Saunders of Fairfield called on Rev. and Mrs. R. H. Carr Monday afternoon. They had come to Blue Hill for the burial of Mrs. Livingston, formerly of Cowles, but late of Fairfield, in the Blue Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. LaVern Carper is caring for Mrs. Charles Hendricks of Bladen, who is seriously ill.

John Kirkbride returned today (Friday) from Omaha, where he has spent the past two weeks.

Miss Cecelia Forest was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Gussie Wilkenson in Minden over the week-end.

Miss Lulu Gronewold of Omaha was a week-end guest of Attorney and Mrs. Clifford Phillips.

Rudolph Peters underwent a major operation at a Hastings hospital Tuesday morning. His condition is reported to be favorable.

Miss Mary McBride and nephew, Edgar John McBride, returned Tuesday from California where they have spent the past month.

Mrs. and Mrs. R. L. Williams of Lincoln and Mrs. Anna Brown were visiting relatives and friends in Blue Hill Sunday.

Miss Eva Eggleston, instructor in the Red Cloud schools, spent the week-end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eggleston.

Mr. and Mrs. Chub Lacy and children attended a reunion of the Lacy family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lacy in Nelson Sunday.

Mrs. Guy Woods left Wednesday for her home at Imperial after visiting for two weeks at the W.H. Leetsch, Clarence and Glen Woods homes.

Miss ARlyne Schwentker is doing practice teaching in a school near Blue Hill, taught by Miss Marjorie Schunk this week, as part of the work she is taking at Hastings College.

Miss Eva Eggleston, instructor in the Red Cloud schools, is enjoying a visit with her niece, Miss Merna Troutman in Omaha, during the Easter vacation of the Red Cloud schools.
