I am a great grandson of John and Sophia Boock. My grandfather was Otto George Boock, their fourth child. The Otto Boock family lived on a farm outside Winside, Wayne County, Nebraska. Otto Boock had three sons from his first marriage (his wife died of influenza). He had one child (Arlene) with his second wife (Emma Gottsch). My mother is Arlene Boock Benson. Otto had an older sister (Amelia) who was born in 1870 (in Iowa) and married Michael Lyons in 1888 (Omaha, Nebraska)
