I am looking for information on the Otteman family from Peneder NE. My Grand parents raised a large family on a farm near Pender. Other relation are Clausen (my grandmother's maiden name) Essman, Speulda, Brehmer, Powley. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have two books about Pender, one entitiled St Peter's Lutheran Church, 1888-1988 and the other Pender, Nebraska The first 100 years, 1885-1985. Your grandparents and their family are in the St Peter's book with a lot of pictures. The other book features all of the Surnames you mentioned.
