Naomi Van Slyke

Plainview - Services for Naomi M Van Slyke, 86, Plainview, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at St. Paul Catholic Church here. Burial will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery at Plainview.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Ashburn Funeral Home in Plainview with a 7:30 p.m. rosary.

She died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at Plainview Manor.

Born Sept. 11, 1917, at Opportunity, she was the daughter of Clarence and Rachel (Krause) Stockman. She attended school in Plainview.

On Dec. 26, 1938, she married Robert Pendergast.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainview and its alter society.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle Pendergast of Lora, Wyo. and Larry Pendergast of Plainview, and nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and her husband.
