Classification: Query
Surnames: Hinrichsen
Hoping to add information to what I have on my husband's relatives:
Claus HINRICHSEN b.08 Oct 1860 Schleswig-Holstein d.1928 Pierce Co., NE (Plainview area?) m.11 Dec 1885 in Denison, Crawford, IA to Christina BOYENS (1866-1949) and removed to Pierce County soon after.
Children: (believe all were born in the Plainview area)
1) Henry b.1886 d.1968 m.26 Feb 1913 to Hannah Leneve?
2) John/Johann b.20 Jun 1888 d.23 Jan 1902
3) Herman b.Jun 1890 d.17 Jun 1890
4) Edward b.18 Mar 1891 d.06 Sep 1892
5) Mary b.? d.? m.?
6) Alfred b.13 Feb 1894 d.09 May 1950 m.? (was a private in WWI)
7) Lewis b.? d.? m.?
8) Alvina b.? d.? m.?
9) Carl C. b.1900 d.1961 m.? to Severa M. (?maiden name)
10) Claus b.? d.? m.?
11) Hans b.? d.? m.?
12) Hilda b.? d.? m.?

Found Claus' biography at the Pierce County website, says he emmigrated from Hamburg to New York in 1874 with his mother, Mary (Manderer) Hinrichsen. I believe Claus had at least 2 brothers who must have been with them: Henry b.1857 d.1926; and John b.c1863 d.1935. May have also been traveling with an uncle, also named Claus.

Any additional information much appreciated!
