Saw you message on the board. I am interested in the family of Charles Bargstadt who married twice. His first wife, Alice Mordhorst, died of influenza in 1919. I believe there were four daughters from that marriage: Ruth Luella born in 1913, Edna in 1914, Esther in 1917 and Clara in 1919. Shortly after their mother's death, the girls were living (1920 census) with various relatives. Clara and her father were with Alice's sister Augusta Fox. Edna and Esther were with their Bargstadt grandparents, and Luella was with another of Alice's sisters, Agnes Shaffer. By 1930 their father had remarried (another Alice) and had several more children by her. I am interested in learning what happened to these girls from Charles' first marriage. My interest stems from my connection with the Mordhorst family. My aunt, Bertha Kratochvil, was married to Edgar Mordhorst, another of Alice's siblings. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
