Untimely Death of Wm. Herbolsheimer
Friends Shocked at His Death in Hospital Monday Evening.
Pierce friends were shocked to learn of the death of William Herbolsheimer Monday evening. He passed away at a Norfolk hospital where he had been taken last Friday.
Mr. Herbolsheimer has been in failing health for some time and was taken seriously ill Tuesday, March 5th.
William Friedrich Herbolsheimer was born April 12, 1887 in Carroll county, Iowa, and at the time of his untimely death lacked a month of being 53 years of age.
He was united in marriage Febr. 16, 1915, to Esther Planer. To this union four children were born. They are Marlin and Letha at home, Mrs. Aaron Koehler and Mrs. Martin Zautke of Pierce vicinity.
Four sisters survive, namely: Mrs. Ludwig Bauer, Randolph; Mrs. Wm. Hilgert and Mrs. Herman Buckendahl, Pierce; Mrs. Herman Miller of Canada; also five brothers--Christ, Fred, Louie and Henry Herbolsheimer of Pierce and John of Bloomfield: A brother, George, died Dec. 24th last.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church with Rev. H. A. Hilpert in charge.
Pall-bearers are Messrs. Leo Frey, Curtis Francis, Albert Setzkorn, Alfred Spreeman, Fred Albrecht and Adam Bauer.
