Wife And Mother Called By Death
Mrs. Robert Korth Answers Last Summons At Her Home Last Sunday
Mrs. Robert Korth, living south of McLean, died Saturday morning Nov. 3rd, from diabetes and other complications. She had been a sufferer for almost two years, her condition becoming critical last Tuesday.
Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Herbolsheimer, and came to Pierce county with her parents in the early nineties from Carroll, Iowa. They located on a farm in Slough precinct, northeast of Pierce. She was born in Carroll county on Dec. 12. 1876, and would have been 58 years of age had she lived until the coming December.
In 1897 she was married to Robert Korth. Four children, Mrs. Allen Koehler of McLean, Herman and William and Mrs. Louie Schnoor who lived at home and cared for her mother, with the husband, survive. There are also four grandchildren. Four sisters, Mrs. Herman Miller in Canada, Mrs. William Hilgert and Mrs. Herman Buckendahl of Pierce and Mrs. Louis Bauer of Randolph with seven brothers, John, William, Henry, Chris, Fred, Louis and George Herbolsheimer of Pierce, also survive.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church east of Pierce, the Rev. H. M, Hilpert having charge of the last rites.
