The Otoe County Genealogical Society will hold its May 8th meeting at the Morton-James Public Library from 7-9 pm. During this meeting, we will be conducting our Internet workshop, where we will be utilizing the library's new media center, and introducing members to the valuable genealogical resources that are available on the Internet. This workshop is designed to assist those researchers who are unsure of how to locate their family's history online. So if you are new to the Internet and would like assistance in this area, please stop by and join us in our free workshop. Also, if you are extremely proficient in researching your family online, we would also ask that you attend, so that you could possibly assist others in this area as well.
Our society meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm, and our meeting location alternates every other month between the Syracuse Public Library and the Morton-James Library in Nebraska City. To learn more about the society, please check out our website at http://ocgsociety.org or contact the Morton-James Library for more information.
