Stuart, 80, formerly of
Broadwater, died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Chimney Rock
Villa in
Bayard.
A celebration of her life is being held from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, at the
Starr Street
Diner, 179
Starr Street in
Broadwater, Neb. Friends and family are invited to share good food and loving memories of Marge. A private family burial will occur at a later time.

Marjorie was born in
Broadwater on September 24, 1927, to John and Emma
Shuler. She resided in the Broadwater/Bridgeport area all of her life. She received her education at a small country school between Bridgeport and
Broadwater. Marjorie worked as a waitress and cook's assistant prior to marrying Corporal Sammy
Stuart in Bridgeport on June 10, 1950. They made their home in
Potter and
Commerce City,
Colo. until moving to
Broadwater in 1975. Together they shared the privilege of raising their eight children and assisting with the spoiling of 13 grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, listening to music, embroidery, canning and gardening while working as a wife, mother, and full time homemaker. Marjorie always looked forward to having company and was a loving and devoted friend.
Survivors include her sister, Bonnie (Fred)

Hermiston, Ore.; brother, Donald (Phyllis)
Shuler of Douglas, Wyo.; her children,
Kenny of Emily, Nev., Andra
Vest of Mobile,
Ala., Sammy Jr. and his wife Myrna of Westminster, Md., William of Newcastle, Wyo., Karen Westerkamp of
Broadwater, Steven and his wife
Sandy of
Thornton,
Colo., Connie of
Broadwater, and Debra
Bowers of
Bayard. She was the proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandson.
Her husband, 10 sisters and two brothers precede her in death.
