Lawson M. Disney b. ca 1870 in KY, and his wife, America Short, b. 5 Nov 1873 KY, moved to Knox Co, KY, almost immediately after their marriage in 1899 Harlan Co,KY.

Then in the 1900 and 1910 census enumerations, they appear in Bluff, Hamilton Co, Nebraska .

In the 1920 and 1930 census enumerations, they are in Lone Tree dist; Merrick Co, Nebraska.

They had the following children; (all b. Nebraska
Donald G. b. ca 1901
Mable H. b. ca 1904
Oscar M. b. ca 1906
Lena Mildred b. ca 1909

What I need most is a death record, cemetery listing showing death date and location for Lawson and/or America (Short). I have the parentage of Lawson, but not for America. I'm hoping I can find her death certificate to confirm or dispute the prevailing opinions.
Thanks,
Kay

Gloria,
Lawson, America, Donald , Oscar and some other Dizneys are buried in the Central City Nebraska cemtery. Go to:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nemerric/cemeteries/CCCem/directory...

It doesn't give a date of death but does give their age at death. Contact me at xmasters@kdsi.net for more info.
Jackie

Thanks

Hi Jackie,
Thank you so much. I did send away for the needed death certificate(s) using an estimated death date using the age at death. I hope the clerks will honor that 1 year date range.

Thank you ever so much

I noticed that per the cemetery transcription of Central City, Lawson Monroe Dizney and his son Oscar Monroe Dizney died on the same day and were buried on the same day. Does anyone know for sure that this is true and not a transcription error?
Also, Mary Hellna Dizney is buried in the same cemetery, but I'm not sure who she belongs to.......ideas?
Thanks,

I would contact the Central City Cemetery and ask them. Right now, a lot of the stones are under snow, but they would have the records.
