I looking for any connection to Nancy Davis (birth 1865) in Illionis to Darius Grosvenor & Lena looking for possible adopted father named Jas McDonald living in Eureka, Jefferson Co, Nb. between 1870 to 1880. Other siblings would be Rupert, Darius, Karen aka Elizebeth, Sarah, Warren, Mannie or Minnie

I to am researching this family line. Grosvenor Davis I believe is Nancy Davis father. I track them from Massachusetts though New York and I know they stop off in Illinois, where his father and family lived and then went on to Nebraska. I am trying to find out what happen to the rest of the family. I can only find Darius Davis and Nancy Davis after the 1870 census. I to found her adopted to the James McDonald on the 1880 census.I have track the earlier children that were on their own before the move to Nebraska. I am wondering if the family surcome to the small pox outbreak that hit Jefferson county in the winter of 1878/79.If you would like any information on Grosvenor Davis family line I will share with you.
