Dead At 87 Years. Mrs. Alfred (Alpheus) SCRIVEN died at her home on Fourth street, near A, Sunday afternoon, February 22, at the age of 87 years and four days. Old age was the cause of her death. Her husband survives.
She was born Febr. 18, 1827, in Shakleyville, Penn., her maiden name being Drusilla CRAIG. She leaves five sons, James of Colorado, Edward of California, Frank of Wyoming, Milo and George of Fairbury. The family formerly lived near Alexandria, coming to Fairbury seventeen years ago. Deceased was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m., at the house, conducted by Rev. Parker, Baptist minister in Fairbury.
