I am researching the Taylor's from Nebraska. My great-grandfather, Leroy (Roy) Curtis Taylor was born there in 1899. A 1930 census states he is the son of Leo C. Taylor and Maurie Taylor, but I have not yet been able to verify this. An 1880 census for this same area states the L.C. Taylor (Leo C.?) has a sister named Kittie Bell Taylor, about two years older than he. Leo was born about 1870. Do you think they may be connected? I've been running into dead ends with this family! Leroy Taylor's WWI draft registration card was from Morrill County with is present day Cheyenne County.

need any info about Horatio Thomas Steele and his wife, Irene Schlotterbeck Steele. They were living there when their daughter, Eunice Norma Steele was born in May, 1909. They would have had at least 3 other children: Grey (female), Robert Cowee, and Thelma. Need to know if the above 3 were also born there. If anyone can help me with a search of newspaper announcements, etc and or birth record listings or certificates, census, etc, I would be grateful. Thank you in advance. You can post me here if you have any info. Sue

I have a postcard sent to Mrs Kittie Harvey of Taylor, Loup Co, NE from her brother ? Taylor, of Whitman, Grant Co, NE. It was sent Dec 3, 1909. In it, it mentions the names of Lester, Ralph, and Roy. I believe these people to be Taylor's. This postcard has been in our family for many many years, no one is sure where it came from or if it is part of our family. I have been doing the genealogy for over 10years and these names do not ring any bells. Any info, or anyone like a jpg image of it let me know please.
