Glen Winner is my great uncle and I knew him well. He lived in Cambridge, Nebraska when he died and is buried in McCook,Red Willow, Nebraska, along with his wife Garva and son Hal.
My mother was a Wilson and born in Wilsonville,Nebraska.Her Mother's parents were Anderson.

I am looking for information on the families of these three men. Ralph is my grandfather and Glenn was his brother. Freeman Marts was Ralph's brother-in-law. During the 40s to the 60s they lived in Red Willow County. However, my father was born in Wilsonville in the early 1900s (my only known Furnas County link), but went to school in Jefferson County. The family may have had links to Lyle, KS.

It is hard to believe but it is me again. I know a Irma Marts who lives in Hendley. She is a member of the Furnas Co. Genealogical Society. Furnas Co. has a great genealogical society in Beaver City which could probably help you. I don't know their phone number or address but you can find it on U.S. GenWeb, Nebraska, Furnas Co. The other half of my family, the Yates and Kirste's came from Furnas Co. around Beaver City, Wilsonville and Hendley

I read that you have some connection to the KIRSTE family in Furnas County Nebraska? I'm tracing my husband's family history and got back to an Ernst and Helen Kirste (nee Helen Kaforka) in Furnas Co. They had a daughter, Bertha Kirste who married Thomas Lally in 1899 in Kansas. You wouldn't have any information on this family, would you??

Thomas W. Lally and Bertha Kirste had 10 children. He worked as a school teacher early in life and then became a printer and then a newspaper editor. They lived in Nebraska then moved to Kansas
