Hello,
I am hoping to find someone who might have information on Mt. Zion burials. Perhaps a caretaker or someone who would have records of the burials there. Looking for information on the Mintons buried there and some of the stones have no dates.
Phebie Minton was born a Bray abt. 1831 in Wayne Co., New York. She started west with her father and siblings about 1842 and by 1854 they were in Allamakee county, Iowa . She may have been married to a "Kiby-Kibby" for a short time before she married W. L. Minton. Sometime in the 1870's the Mintons left Allamakee county Iowa and moved to Decatur county, Iowa and sometime after 1885 they left Decatur county to move to Nebraska. Phebie had three brothers who died in Banner county Nebraska in 1907.
Would also be interested in knowing what newspapers might have covered the happenings of Frontier County, Nebraska.
