No idea on Adam's parents. I went to the Franklin County Courthouse in November and found Adam's declaration of intent. They are really helpful. Also, I found obits on both at the library in Franklin. I got some vague leads on the Barth clan in a census of Kolb from the AHSGR in Lincoln, but not much solid information. Take the main street north, out of town and over the bridge and bear right. They are toward the eastern side about midway down the row. Look for a set of real plain granite tablets.
