Otis Dygert served in local politics for Dixon Co during 1871. Died in accidental shooting in Sept 1872.
Had 2 children, Matilda and James both born in Ontario Canada.
From what I can find out Otis is buried in Newcastle Cemetery in Dixon,and was born in New York circa 1828.

Any information on this family, or names of his parents would be greatly appreciated.
