I'm looking for the William Stowell family. I know they lived in David City. His wife Abrilla is listed on the 1930 census report but I can't seem to find either one's death information.

William was born 1/12/1853 IL, Abrilla (Bunker) b: 10/12/1856 OH. The only child I can find is a dau Lydia Adella, who married Lewis Kendall in David City NE. His parents were Stephen and Elivra Kendall. Any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.

I found the attached picture of W.W. Stowell on the Early Settlers of Butler County. (http://www.rootsweb.com/~nebutler/1906atlas/butset2.htm). I am certain it is William Wallce Stowell who you are seeking. I have yet to find either his death date or his wife's. If you do find it, please let me know. Best of luck.

Thanks for the data on Abrilla. There is something satisfying when all the boxes are filled with correct information! How did you find her death date? Did you find her tombstone? If so, in which cemetery was she buried?

Actually, I came into contact with Abrilla's great great grandson and got the information from him and Ruby Bunker - Wright's great granddaughter in law. She sent me pictures and gave me my great grandfather's quilt he brought with him when he left VA.:-)
