Surnames: Hurford, Coon, Feldkirchner
Louis Collier HURFORD b. 11 Aug 1875 Butler Co., Neb. the s/o Oliver HURFORD and Louisa (Coon) HURFORD, died after 1920 but when and where?
Louis HURFORD married a 2nd time 5 Jan. 1918 to Mary Faith FELDKIRCHNER b. 20 Jan 1895, died 3 Sep 1979 in Lincoln, Lansaster Co., Neb., the dtr. of Ernest Feldkirchner and Imogene (HETLER) Feldkirchner. The marriage took place in Beatrice, Gage Co., Neb. at the Lutheran parsonage, Rev. A. M. Aetzel officiating. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mr. E. Feldkirchner. "The couple will reside at David City where the groom is engaged in the furniture business".
(The Lincoln Daily Star, Lincoln, Nebraska Jan. 7, 1918, pg. 8.)
I was unable to locate Mary or Louis/Louie, L. C. Hurford anywhere in 1930. Mary HURFORD was listed as a school nurse, Widow, in city directories for Lincoln, Neb. in the mid 1940's.
Does anyone know this family or their whereabouts in 1930?
Thank you.
Elsie
